The Office Tv Shows Episodes

Season three premiered on September 21, 2006, and ended on May 17, 2007. It featured 25 episodes, including two hour-long episodes, four "super-sized" episodes, and guest directors such as J. J. Abrams, Joss Whedon and Harold Ramis.

The season marked the move of main character Jim Halpert from Scranton to Stamford, and also introduced Rashida Jones as Karen Filippelli, and Ed Helms as Andy Bernard (both members of Dunder Mifflin Stamford) as recurring characters. Helms would later be promoted to series regular. The main plot for the early episodes of the season deals with a recurring problem in seasons one and two—the problem of company downsizing—while in the last half of the season, inter-office relationships also became a major plot point. Metacritic, which assigns normalized ratings out of 100 to critics' reviews, calculated an average score of 85/100 based on five collected reviews, indicating "universal acclaim".
NBC ordered a full fourth season of The Office consisting of 30 episodes, which included five one-hour specials. However, the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike shut down production for nearly five months in the middle of the season (between the episodes "The Deposition" and "Dinner Party"). Because of the shutdown, the fourth season of The Office only consisted of 19 episodes. Ten of the episodes were paired as five hour-long episodes. The first episode of season four premiered on September 27, 2007, and the last episode aired on May 15, 2008.

By the way all the TV show episodes can be watched anytime online, all you have to do is to visit thetvshowsonline.com!

Season four marked the departure of Karen Filippelli as a regular character, although she appeared in the sixth episode, "Branch Wars", as the regional manager of the Utica branch. Relationships emerged as the main theme of the season, with Jim and Pam's rising, and Michael and Jan's, as well as Dwight and Angela's declining. Technology was another theme as the office staff struggled with initiatives introduced by Ryan to modernize the company.

The Event WIKI : Reception

Today The Event WIKI.
The Event was one of four new series screened at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2010, with The Hollywood Reporter saying the crowd response suggested "NBC's fall drama The Event came up a big winner."

Reviews of the pilot episode were generally favorable, scoring 67 out of 100 on Metacritic many invoking comparisons to Lost and 24, each of which had ended its run the preceding spring. Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times called it "as big, brash and promising as Heroes was a few years back". Variety's Brian Lowry called it "an enticing start". Linda Stasi of the New York Post stated that "if 24, Lost, and The 4400 had a baby, it would be The Event".

More cautious commentators said the show had promise but could not go on tantalizing the audience with a proliferation of mysteries. "The effort required to follow the story" said Barry Garron of The Hollywood Reporter, "goes well beyond what most viewers might be willing to give." Ken Tucker of Entertainment Weekly called the pilot "an irritating tease" and hoped the second episode would answer some of the questions the pilot asked.

The pilot episode received 10.88 million viewers, placing third in its timeslot at 9:00 pm ET.

On October 18, 2010, NBC announced a full-season pick-up for the series, due to its averaging 9.1 million viewers for the first four episodes.

TheTVShowsOnline: Big Bang Theory Production

The show's initial pilot, developed for the 2006–07 television season, was substantially different from its current form. Only Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons were in the cast, and the female lead, Katie, was envisioned as "a street-hardened, tough-as-nails woman with a vulnerable interior". Katie was played by actress Amanda Walsh. They also had a female friend called Gilda (played by Iris Bahr). The show's original theme music was also different, using Thomas Dolby's hit "She Blinded Me With Science" (This song was later used as the ringtone for Howard's cell phone in the season 3 episode "The Creepy Candy Coating Corollary"). The show was not picked up, but the creators were given an opportunity to revise the show, bringing in the remaining leading cast and retooling the show to its current format. The original unaired pilot has never been released on any official format, but copies are available on the Internet. On the evolution of the show, Lorre said "We did the 'Big Bang Pilot' about two and a half years ago, and it sucked... but there were two remarkable things that worked perfectly, and that was Johnny and Jim. We rewrote the thing entirely, and then we were blessed with Kaley and Simon and Kunal." As to whether the world will ever see that original pilot, maybe on a DVD, Lorre said "Wow that would be something, we will see. Show your failures..."
